What's the most important letter in the alphabet? Why?

Paperboy in Ponchotown, After much thought I have come to the conclusion that the most important letter of the alphabet is L. It starts some of the greatest words in the English language. Labia, Lockjaw, Lesbian, Lick, Large, Lesion and Chode are just a few. I checked with my good friend Merriam Webster and he agreed, we would all be totally screwed if we didn't have the letter L.
